Do I need an appointment to visit Serafina Bridal and if so how can I make an appointment?

You are always welcome to come and browse our dresses without an appointment. If you are purchasing evening/ocassional wear then you may browse and buy without an appointment. However, if you are intending to purchase a bridal gown you will need a one-to-one consultation, which consists of an allotted time-slot to try on our wedding dresses. In this instance you will need to book an appointment. You can book an appointment by calling or e-mailing us.


Do you offer evening or weekend appointments?

Here at Serifina we understand that work commitments and busy schedules may prevent many of our brides from attending day-time appointments. We are open late on Thursday evenings or can offer Saturday appointments. However, these can get booked up very quickly, often resulting in long waiting times for these slots. Whilst we would recommend that, if possible, to book an appointment during the week, where this is not feasible we will do our best to accommodate your individual needs but can not give a guarantee. Please note that the time allocated for these appointments may be shorter than our weekday, day-time appontments.


What happens at my appointment?

Our appointments can last up to an hour. We will discuss with you your style requirements and budget and you will have ample opportunity to try on a selection of dresses. Your bridal consultant will help you decide what to try on and provide you with relevant and honest advice.



How can I pay for my dress?

Once you have chosen your dress, you will need to fill in and sign our terms and conditions form. You will then need to pay a 50% deposit for us to be able to process your order. You may of course pay for your dress in full if you would like to do so. Once your dress is ready we will request for you to pick it up as we are not able to store your dress due to limited storage facilities. If you require us to hold your dress for you then there is a weekly storage fee applicable from when your dress is ready.



How do your dresses range in price?

We have a variety of dresses in our collections with prices ranging between £700 to £2500.


Do you sell accessories to go with my dress?

We stock a range of veils and tiaras at very reasonable prices. We put no pressure on you to buy these items from us.

My wedding isn’t for another year, when should I start shopping for my dress?

The earlier you start looking for your dress, the easier it will be for you. There are many different designs and collections for you to choose from and starting to look for your dress early allows you to try the different styles available. Placing your order in advance also allows you to make sure your dress is made and delivered on time.



My wedding is in a couple of months, can I still buy a dress?

Yes! We offer a range of dresses which have a quick turn around of up to 28 days. We also have a range of sale dresses which can be purchased and taken home on the same day.



Do I need to bring anything when trying on my dress?

We advise that you bring with you a strapless bra when trying on the dresses. We have shoes for you to try your dress on with but if you would like to bring your own then please do so.



Do you offer alterations?

We order your dress based on your size and measurements but you may need alterations. This is especially true if your dress order was made quite some time before your big day. We will call you approximately 8 weeks before your big day to ascertain if you may need alterations. Our experienced and dedicated seamstress will come to the boutique on your appointment day and will make the necessary alterations to your dress, if needed. This service is independent from Serafina Bridal and is not included in the purchase price of your dress but our seamstress offers very reasonable prices and is fully insured.
